Donald Trump has posted a video on social media showing a motor boat that moves through torn waters before it bursts into flames.

President Donald Trump says the United States has made a strike against a drug carrying drugs to the southern Caribbean, killing 11 “drug materials.”

He published on social media that the US military operation on Tuesday has directed members of the Venezuelan band Tren de Aragua.

Trump said the ship was in international waters and transported illegal drugs tied to the United States.

The Trump administration has strengthened military and political pressure against Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro in recent weeks, including through a $ 50 million award (£ 37 million) for information leading to his arrest on drug trafficking. Maduro swore that Venezuela would fight any attempt at US military intervention.

Speaking to reporters in the oval cabinet on Tuesday, Trump said the US forces had “fired” a “boat for drug transfer” near Venezuela.

“A lot of drugs in this boat,” he said.

Trump added that he had been informed of the incident by the chairman of the joint chiefs of the staffs General Dan Kane.

Later, the president publishes on his social platform for the truth: “earlier this morning, in my orders, US military forces held a kinetic strike against the positively identified Tren de Aragua drug proceedings in the Southcom area.”

He added: “The impact led to 11 terrorists killed in action. In this strike, no forces of the United States were injured. Please let this serve as a notification to anyone who even thinks about the introduction of drugs in the United States of America. Watch!”

His post was accompanied by a granular air video showing a motor boat that moves through torn waters before it burst into flames.

In a social media publication, Venezuela’s Minister of Communications Freddie Enas suggested, without evidence that the video shared by Trump was created with artificial intelligence.

Reuters reported that his initial video inspections had not revealed no signs of manipulation, but that the verification process was ongoing.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an X publication that “today the US military has held a deadly blow in the Southern Caribbean against a drug, which has deviated from Venezuela and is run by a certain NARCO terrorist organization.”

It is not yet clear what medicines it was thought that the ship was carrying.

After returning to the White House in January, Trump has identified several organizations for drug trafficking and criminal groups in Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America as terrorist organizations.

He used the charges of crime as a justification for the deportation of Venezuelans. However, he suffered a strike late on Tuesday when the US Appeal Court decided that he could not invoke the 18th -century military law law to accelerate these removal.

Like Tren de Aragua, Trump headed for the Sun cartel, a group that the United States claims to be led by Maduro and other high -ranking Venezuelan officials, some of the country’s military or intelligence services.

The US military has moved to strengthen their strengths in the Southern Caribbean over the last two months, including through the deployment of additional naval ships and thousands of marines and sailors in the United States.

The Trump Administration has repeatedly reported to use force to stop the flow of drugs in the United States. “There’s more to come from,” Trump told the ship strike.

The Venezuela government angrily responds to the deposits.

On Monday, for example, Maduro swore to “declare a republic of weapons” if the US attacked, adding that the US deployment is “the biggest threat seen on our continent in the last 100 years.”

At least in another respect, Trump took a softer position towards Venezuela – reporting that the US company Chevron was working in the country in partnership with the State PDVSA company PDVSA in the country.
