US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he had a “good conversation” with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a call for the recent attack on the drone of Ukraine and Iran.
Following the main attack of the drone in Ukraine deep in Russia, Trump announced that Putin had told him to Russia, “he will have to answer.”
Trump also warned a social media publication that a phone call lasting more than an hour would not “lead to immediate peace.”
The two leaders also discussed Iran and Putin suggested that he could help nuclear conversations with the country.
The conversation between the two leaders marks the first since Ukraine launched a bold attack hitting Russian air bases on June 1, aimed at long -distance nuclear bombers.
In his post, Trump said Putin told him – “very strong” – that “he will have to respond to the latest attacks against airports.”
Last week, Trump seemed to set a two -week period for Putin, threatening to change the way the United States responds to Russia if he believes that Putin is still “tapping” him for peaceful efforts in Ukraine.
The comment was one of Trump’s public critical remarks, who had earlier said that Putin had become “absolutely crazy” and “played with fire” when Russia intensified drones and rocket attacks against targets in Ukraine.
Trump did not mention the deadline or his previous remarks in the publication on Wednesday of his social platform for the truth.
