Bali’s police arrested two people for shooting one Australian died and seriously injured another.
The 32 -year -old Zivan Radmanovic was shot dead shortly after midnight on Saturday after two men invaded his villa in Mungu, in the southern part of the Indonesian tourist island.
One of the suspects was arrested in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, while the other was caught abroad, police said without giving more details.
G -n Radmanovic’s wife told police that she had been awakened by her husband’s screams before finding his body in the bathroom, Australian media reported.
Sanar Gaim, who is also shot, is being treated for his injuries to a hospital. Local police claim that the 34-year-old was also beaten.
G -n Ghanim’s wife testifies that she sees the attackers. Neither are women injured.
Police collected 17 shells, two intact shells and 55 fragments of the bullet from the scene of the shooting.
Images of the villa published by Australian media holes in windows and blood spots on the floor.
Several witnesses told police that they heard the shooters speak English with strong Australian accents.
One wore an orange jacket with a dark helmet while the other wore a dark green jacket, a black mask and a dark helmet, according to witnesses.
“I can’t start my bike,” one of them said before he ultimately managed to take off on a scooter, witnesses added.
Bali’s police say they are still investigating the shooters’ motive but did not give further details about Monday.
The Australian media reported that Mr. Gian was previously in terms of the stepdaughter of the late Carl Williams, a prominent figure in the underworld in Melbourne.
The reports state that Mr Ghanim served prison for a non-fatal firing in Melbourne in 2014.
A Victoria police spokesman told the BBC that they were familiar with a fatal firing in Bali on Saturday and that their “investigators would provide support to partner agencies throughout the investigation.”
The incident on Saturday took place in the tourist district of Bali in Badung, where many famous beaches are located such as Kuta and Kangu.
Violent crime is relatively rare in Bali, which attracts millions of international visitors a year.
