UK Healthcare Giant HCRG Care Group has confirmed that it is investigating a cyberquacy incident when a Ranswar gang claims that the company’s systems have violated the stole of sensitive information trends.
HCRG Care Group is one of the largest distinct suppliers in the UK community health and care services. The company is formerly known as Virgin Care and is now owned by T -T20 Capters, Emergency Care, Sexual Health, and Part of the National Healthcare Trust and local authorities around the UK to provide health care services including adult and child social care services.
HCRG was listed on the Dark Web Leak site of the Prolphic Medusa Ransomwear Group this week, claiming that more than two terabytes of data compromised to the company to steal.
Samples of information stolen by Medusa and TechCrunch seem to include employees’ personal information, sensitive medical records, financial records and passports and government identification documents such as birth certificates.
