A Chinese paraglider has survived that he accidentally driven 8,500 m (27,800 feet) in the sky over northwestern China, a state media report.

Penn Eudzhiang tested new equipment over the cylinder mountain on Saturday, when a rare boom or air current known as “cloud sucking” pulled it higher in the air.

Pen Pen has survived the death -oxygen levels are thin at this altitude and temperatures can fall to -40 ° C.

Chinese authorities are investigating the incident and Mr Penn has been stopped for six months as the flight has been unauthorized, State Global Times reported.
