What to know about the search for a missing student Sudicksha Connocks in the Dominican Republic

Efforts to search for a missing student at the University of Pittsburgh, who disappeared on the spring vacation, while in the Dominican Republican entered his second week.

The 20 -year -old Sudiksha Konanki was last seen at a hotel around 04:00 local time on March 6th.

She is a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the United States. She lives with her family in Shantilli, Virginia, located in Loudoun County.

D -Ja Konanki was last seen early on the morning of March 6th.

The observation video shows her and a group of friends walking to the beach.

She was with five women and two American men in the video.

The Kananki stayed on the beach with one of the men while the others returned to the hotel, police in Dominican told BBC News CBS partner.

Dominican Luis Abinader’s President said earlier this week during a press conference that the last person who had contact with Da Konanki reported that the wool had hit them while they were on the beach.

The parents of the man -Joshua Reebe -last seen with the d -konanki have released a statement to CBS News, saying that they are hoping to -to -konanki will be “found as soon as possible”.

RIIBE is a senior at St Cloud State University in Minnesota.

“We admit that this is a complex and painful situation for all participating countries and we trust that the investigation will be conducted with transparency and justice. Our only interest is that the proper process is respected and that the actions are taken with the justice that the situation requires,” the statement said.

Officials said they spent dozens of hours searching for Kananki.

Pilots are watching footage who boarded a command center where AI is looking to identify objects in the ocean.

Search crews are looking for water on land as well.

Authorities say it is unclear whether the fake game has been involved in the disappearance of Gi Konanki.

There was no blood or signs of violence on the beach.

The University of Pittsburgh, where G -Konanki is a student, said in a statement that they are working with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the Administration for Drugs, the Ministry of Interior Security and the local authorities in response to its disappearance.

The International Criminal Police Organization, known as Interpol, has issued a global signal after D -Ja Konanki disappeared.

The yellow notice is about missing persons as victims of abduction or “unexplained disappearance.”
