Volodimir Zelenski said the Ukrainian and US officials will meet for peace talks in Saudi Arabia next Monday after the Kremlin confirmed negotiations in the United States-Russia there the same day.

Ukraine’s leader said Russian President Vladimir Putin “must stop making unnecessary demands that only prolong the war.” Moscow’s demands include a full end of military assistance to Ukraine.

Zelenski also warned that Removing NATO membership for Ukraine from the table – Something Putin said he was not negotiating about peace would be a “big gift for Russia”.

He also rejected the White House claims that he had discussed ownership of Ukraine’s nuclear power plants to the United States while calling with President Donald Trump.

Recent conversations come when the United States is trying to unite the truce between the two countries after more than three years of fighting.

Both Zelenski and Putin have agreed in principle during talks with the United States – but one has not yet taken place due to conflict conditions.

Russian leader most recently agreed Stopping air strikes on energy infrastructure – But similar blows on both sides continue.

Zelenski said the Ukrainian delegation will hand over to the United States a list of infrastructure facilities that he wants to be protected from Russian strikes in Monday talks.

Asked about the White House that writes Possible ownership of US ownership of Ukraine nuclear power plants At a joint press conference with Norway Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stere in Oslo, Zelenski turned off this completely.

He said the two had discussed the power plant of the poisoner – which is currently under Russian control – in their telephone conversation with Trump, but stressed that “all nuclear power plants belong to the people of Ukraine.”

However, he said he was open to the United States, who take the plant from Russia to invest or modernize.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said earlier that US ownership “will be the best protection for this infrastructure.”

Asked if he was ready to make territorial discounts in Russia, more special Crimea, which has been in Russian hands since 2014, Zelenski replied: “This is a Ukrainian peninsula,” adding that Crimea is an “integral part” from its country.

Crimea is internationally recognized as part of Ukraine, despite Russia’s occupation and claims annexation.

Asked what a truce may look like, Zelenski said that the first stage would have to be stopped on the fire and the sea, as Ukraine sees this as the only way to stop Russian aggression.

Trump was able to derive agreement to terminate the fire of energy infrastructure – which Russia has repeatedly directed – from Putin when a call on Tuesday, but nothing more.

Meanwhile, the war – began with the full -scale invasion of Russia in 2022 – continues. One night, two people killed two people in Ukraine while the Ukrainian drone attacks wounded 10 and set fire to fire in Russia.

Speaking to EU leaders through a video connection, Zelenski repeated calls for the continuation of military aid by asking for European leaders for at least € 5 billion (£ 4.18 billion) for artillery shells “as soon as possible” and said that the constant support for Ukraine was “decisive”.

Zelenski also said that the EU should participate in peace negotiations and urged Europe not to “relieve pressure on Russia because of the war.”

EU leaders in Brussels solve their defense strategy and are enhancing Ukraine’s security measures.
